3 Day First Aid at Work
This course is for those who have a legal requirement to provide First Aid at Work. Whatever your occupational activity this course will give you the First Aid skills for the workplace.
Course Content includes:
Managing an Incident, Primary and Secondary Survey of the Casualty, Placing the Casualty in the Recovery Position, CPR, Managing Choking, Bleeding, Burns, Fractures, Dislocations, Medical Shock, Managing the Unconscious Casualty, Common Medical Conditions eg. Asthma, Allergies, Heart Conditions, Diabetes, Seizures, Poisoning, Head Injuries and Stroke.
Contents of a First Aid Kit.
Recording and Reporting Requirements.
Assessment and Examination are held on the final afternoon and successful completion of the course with lead to the qualification First Aid at Work. |
